media player question

what do most use for players to play audio cds or dvds i have tried using the dell player but i am not sure if i like it is it better then windows media player etc. i would like to make default players and just get use to them which one or ones do people like to use for different applications? thanks for any help

It depends what you like....but I use Winamp and Windows Media player for playing cd's and sonic for burning cd's.

you can use wmp for just about anything, you can play music, burn cd's, etc. however if you dont already have it, just know that you cannot uninstall it once you install it. the only way to remove it would be to do a system restore. usually this doesnt present a problem.

How so? I see that winamp comes with an uninstall program.

Hello- WMP is Windows Media Player, not Winamp. As far as uninstalling WMP, I ran into some malware called "WMPLAYER.EXE" that uninstalled my WMP 9 just fine.
