Memory modules are detected, but a memory failure has occurred.

After checking thre diagnostics lights on the back of the computer it says this is the problem in the troubleshooting.

Could someone explain what this means?

Also it says to take out and reinstall memeory modules, and then, if that doesn't work get on to dell. But I don't want to go poking around with the workings of the computer... What should I do?

Thanks for the response Osprey. I had thought as much from the guides and system manual. I'm not going to go messing with the internal workings(even though this does seem fairly easy) of the computer unless someone from dell tells me to, because knowing my luck I'd manage to destroy it.

Sounds like bad RAM. If you go to your support home page, in the adding/removing parts section, it explains how to remove and re-seat the RAM modules. If you don't know where this is, please post your system model.
