You need to give us a few more details or nobody can possibly help. What model PC, version of Windows...? When don't they work? Is this a new problem or they've never worked with this PC? Have you changed the batteries lately? Are they synched with their base stations? Are the base stations plugged into the PC...?

I'm not very computer savy but I will try to answer your questions.  I have a Dell Desktop with Windows XP Home Edition 2002.  I followed the directions and installed the software, put the batteries in the mouse and keyboard, plugged the receiver into the PS/2 port using an adapter that came with the keyboard/mouse, and they didn't work.  Then I unplugged my printer from the USB port and plugged the receiver into that.  The computer says that they are working appropriately but the computer does not respond to either. Thanks

Did you sync the keyboard and mouse to their base stations? There are probably small buttons on the keyboard and mouse you have to press/hold while you also press a similar button on each base station so they'll communicate.

If you can get into Device Manager, see what it says for the mouse and keyboard entries.

Is there a BIOS update or update to Dell's Desktop System Software that may fix some USB issues on your model? Do you have Windows XP Service Pack 2 installed? Please include your model desktop too. Have you contacted tech support for the keyboard manufacturer?

Tried to sync the keyboard and mouse multiple times but didn't help.

As for the other info, will have to get back to you - all of this is a little too over my head so it may take some time for me to get answers to your questions.  Really do appreciate your help though.

Thanks Ron!!
