motherboard bios
purchased refirb board for dell 531s inspiron, old had bios corruption,exact board comming, do i need new bios chips or are the bios chips included with board and set to default,like brand new??

BIOS chip usually comes with the board. Just might be an older version of the BIOS since it's a refurbished motherboard.

Have you tried resetting BIOS on the old motherboard to factory defaults by removing the battery?
Unplug PC from the wall and press/hold power button for ~15 sec. Open the case and remove the motherboard battery. Press/hold the power button again for ~30 sec. Reinstall the battery (right-side-up!) and see if it will boot with only mouse, monitor and keyboard attached.
