Mouse does not work in Bios
I have an Optiplex 380. When I get into Bios my keyboard will work but not my mouse. I have tried three different ones with no luck. All I want to do is enable the 3rd sata port. This is the first bios that I have seen had a cursor for a mouse. All the others used just a keyboard. Am I missing something? I can navigate down the Bios list to the Drives section with my keyboard, but not over to the box to select the sata port. HELP!!!!

Do you have the mouse plugged into a USB 3.0 (normally USB 3.0 ports have a blue receptacle)? Sometimes, Mice/Keyboards do not work in USB 3.0 ports, until the drivers are loaded preventing them from working in UEFI/BIOS, so try plugging the mouse in a USB 2.0 port or maybe just a different port.

No USB 3.0 on the computer. The keyboard and mouse works fine on Win 7. Keyboard works fine in Bios, just no mouse. Keyboard and mouse are Microsoft wireless set. Tried wired mouse as well with no luck.

Mice typically don't work in BIOS setup on older systems. Use the arrow keys and Enter key to navigate around and to select the features you want to change.

That is what I am used to. Just the keyboard. Yet I cannot navigate to the box I need to check with the keyboard. Also, there is an arrow cursor for mouse navigation. I am confused about this....
