Multimedia Controller ???

I did a format and clean reintall of Win XP on a Dimension4550, Serv Tag:24LK8D21. I installed all the drivers on the ResourceCD and it cleared three exclamation items in device manager including MultiMedia Audio Controller. But Multimedia Controller still has  ! and still no sound. The Multimedia Audio Controller apparently was Analog Devices ADI 198X Integrated Audio Rev A01-00. What is the Multimedia Controller and where and how can I get drivers for it?

use the drop down menu up top marked product support in the menu click on drivers and downloads...I tried your service tag but it didnt work so I entered dimension into product type and 4550 as model and then the blue arrow at the end then choose windows xp as operating system then find downloads. Second or third option in the list is audio device drivers and the driver you asked for is listed there I believe.

Thanks for the reply Saltdog19. I already found the file you mention. That is the same one a ran from the  ResorceCD that cleared the Multimedia Audio Controller. I will run that driver anyway and see if it clears the multimedia Controller problem(no audio in the title).

I also have since rectified the no sound problem in audio device properties and selecting SoundMax.

The  Multimedia Controller that has an Exclamation in the hardware device driver is apparently in PCI Slot 3 (PCI bus 3, device 6, function 0). Anyone know how I can determine what is located there?
