multimedia funtion on Dell Keyboard Not functioning!
2 weeks ago I rec'ved a Dell 9150 with Dell wireless keyboard and mouse. The Multimedia funtions do not work. This KB works on other Dell systems, other multimedia kb do not work on this 9150. After an hour on tech support I was sent a drivers disk. No Change. Yesterday I rec'ved another 9150 with a wired Dell Multimedia KB. The multimedia keys do not funtion on this system either. This KB works on other Dell's. Other mm kb do not funtion on this 9150. Any Ideas???

try this, should work
Insert the Drivers and Utilities CD in the CD drive.
The message Welcome Dell System Owner appears
Click the Next button
Click to select All from the System Model menu
Click to select Windows XP from the Operating System menu
Click to select Applications from the Topic menu.
A list of available Keyboard Applications appears
Click to select Dell Enhanced Multimedia Keyboard
Scroll down then click the Extract button.
The Input:Dell Enhanced Multimedia Keyboard Application window appears.
Click the Continue button.
The message Select the folder where you want to unzip the files to appears
Click the OK button to accept the default location.
The message Folder 'C:\dell\Drivers\R44838' does not exist. Do you want to create it? appears
If the application has already been installed, the message Folder 'C:\dell\Drivers\R44838' already exists. Do you want to overwrite it? will appear. If so, click the Yes to All button
Click the Yes button.
The message All files were successfully unzipped appears
Click the OK button.
The C:\dell\Drivers\R44838\readme.htm window appears.
Click the Install Now button.
The message Would you like to open the file or save it to your computer? appears.
Click the Open button.
The Volume Control window appears.
Close all open windows
