Network Controller Driver - Inspiron One 2320
Inspiron One 2320 running Windows 7 Home Premium:
I recently had a hard drive crash where I had to replace it with a new drive. Dell sent me a Windows 7 disk and I did a clean install. I have found the necessary drivers for all devices except a Network Controller listed in Other Devices on Device Manager. The General Information is:
Device Type: Other devices
Manufacturer: Unknown
Location: PCI Slot 2 (PCI bus 3, device 0, function 0).
The Device Status is: "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28). Under Properties for the device, the Hardware Details are as follows:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0091&SUBSYS_52218086&REV_34
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0091&SUBSYS_52218086
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0091&CC_028000
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0091&CC_0280
Any idea what driver I am looking for?
Also, I did a System Analysis for my Service Tag # on Dell.com and the only remaining driver the analysis says I need is a Intel AMT HECI (Consumer Desktop), v. 7.0.0.1144, A00; R305804.exe
I have downloaded it a few times but it never seems to install. I have not been able to clear it. Do you think this is related to the Network Controller problem described above.

Expand everything on the download page to see the special directions for installing. This should have been installed first with the chipset drivers. Intel has a utility for evaluating what chipset drivers you need. Check their web site--second link below
