New Bios

Well Elsbeth the new bios wont hunt!.  We have 2 E521 machines.  On one it says the system is not correct.  We downloaded the correct bios to both machines.  The flash on the second machine (identical system) would go to 3 percent, erase, and then repeat.  We followed the instructions to the letter. Now the second machine will not post.  The fan runs and the light is steady amber.  Diagnostic code readout is dark.
