No Boot Device Available
Hello
My son bought a Optiplex 780 at State Surplus. It had not hard drive. He installed one. He used the product code to download Windows 7 pro at a friends house. He compressed the file.
When disk is inserted screen reads
Performing automatic IDE configuration...

Bootable media needs to be from the .iso in the form of a bootable USB or DVD see here:

Next you need to boot from the bootable media by pressing F12 at the BIOS screen. See here for installation instructions:
