Noisy 330

I have a Precision 330 that gives off a loud high pitched sound when running.  Has anyone else experienced this with this or other models?

1.5 ghz

2 gigs RD Ram

18 gig HD

Win2000 SP4

Any thoughts would be most helpful.

Could be a Fan, the Cdrom Spindle, or Hard Drive or combination of the above. Depends on the frequency.

I don't actually have a tool to measure the exact frequency, but I can tell you it's very high.  Not really a screeching sound, but more of a fast high pitched sqeak with no interruptions...

It's not likely the CD-ROM because that's not running.  I'm almost certain it's the fan, but should they be absolutely silent on a Precision Workstation?  It's the mini-tower.
