Nvidia GeForce4 MX 420
Hello. I have a dimension 4550 and it came with a Nvidia GeForce4 MX 420 and i'm now shopping around for a new graphics card:smileywink: I have been wanting to play 3d games such as Fable, World of Warcraft, Doom 3, ect... and my current graphics card can not handle these games:smileysad:. When i first start the game a little message will come up saying that my graphics card cannot support the pixel shading needed for this game. So I was shopping around and found this card....the nvidia Geforce 6800. What my question is, would i be able to run this on my system? I downloaded some software onto my computer to find some information about my graphic interface and i found the following information:
Version - AGP version 2.0
Transfer Rate - 4x
Max. Supported - 4x
I'm not exactly sure what all that means but under the specifications about the Nvidia 6800, it said Interface - AGP 4x/8x. Is that going to be a problem if i put this graphics card on my computer:womanmad:?
