Optiplex 755 Intel 82Q35 Express Serial KT Controller Driver
Hi all,
We have had a new Dell Optiplex 755 desktop delivered today - its come with an XP downgrade as requested but unfortuately this includes SP3 - the software going on this machine doesnt like SP3 so I just quickly re-formatted it with an older SP2 installation disk. All is going well - the included Resource CD is for Vista so thats no good so I just download the drivers from the Dell Support Site - until I realise that no driver is listed for the additional PCI Serial Port card - some digging has told me that it is the above card - but do you think I can find the driver - not at all!
Can anyone help me please - I need to get this machine deployed!

There is no 82Q35 Express Serial KT Controller on the 755.
You need to install the Chipset Drivers. Then Audio and Network.
The AMT SOL and HECI drivers show up as a serial port but they are not.
