Optiplex GX280 cannot read Dimm 1?
Optiplex GX280 desktop Dimm 1 and Dimm 3 have 512mb memory sticks. Dimm 1 now reads 0. I have switched 1 & 3. Dimm 1 still reads 0. Do I have to replace the motherboard or can I configure dimm 2 & 4? It appears a cockroach invaded my system.

Thanks for elaborating the issue,
It seems to be an issue with the memory slot I would suggest you to connect the memory with remaining 3 slots and it will work.
please let me know for further help.
