It should say on your invoice or typing in your service code. But you can select start>run and type in dxdiag and it will tell you. Or go to control panel under display and adapter and it should say. Or under control panel look under system, hardware>device manager and for video adapter select properties.

Thats the problem....no drivers have been installed so the computer wont give me any info....i have a choice of about 5 different drivers to install on Dell's 4700 website and the express code doesn't say anything about the video card.....

Thanks for the help though, I appreciate the thought...

Be sure to install the chipset driver first. Then make sure you have the Intel 915 by looking at the chip onboard.

Well, wasn't just a thought. dxdiag should identify your adapter. The service tag and invoice should also. Didn't you get a drivers cd with the computer?

Open up the computer and physically look at the card. If the card isn't in a pci slot then you have the Intel intergrated 915G controller. You may try going into the biso setup and see what it says there for the adapter.
