This Dell server had been running great for years up until recently, initially we thought the LSI SAS controller card was the problem so that has been replaced but still same issues occuring.  The problem is that we are unable to create any type of array for this.  When going through the normal setup, we select for the new array then it just goes back to the RAID menu without doing anything.  Could this be an issue with the backplane or could the cable between the card and the backplane be going out or am I just missing something?  I'm including the images of whats going on:

After selecting the RAID type we go to the next screen and it just sits here, I have stepped away for a few hours and came back with this screen not making any progress.

It states to hit "Enter" but when I do, it goes back to this RAID menu and the process starts over again
