Precision T7400 & Speedstep question
Hi,
i have a brand new Dell T7400 Precision with two Intel Xeon Quadcores. (2x Intel E5420 2 x 2,5 GHz)
The operating systems is Vista Business x64.
I disable Intel Speedstep technology in the bios but it doesn´t work. The two Xeon Quadcores anyway clocking down to 2 GHz in Idle.
How can i disable speedstep?

I ended up using RMClock for that
It's not an optimal solution, but it works.
I also recommend using it to disable C1E -- I get terrible slow downs with that turned on.
