previous fan failure

Has anyone had this error message with a Dimension 4700?
I have had this error message as well as "out of range  CPU fan" in my event log and Dell tech Support( and I use this term loosely ) has replaced; modem card??, motherboard and processor. Why has no one looked at replacing the fan.
Presently i have spent numerous hours on the phone with technician from India to no avail. I have called about 20 times and they are waiting for some kind of response from there "senior group" whoever they are, why can they not just replace the fan??? Also why can they not call you back when they say they are going to, apparently these "managers" have never been trained in customer service.

check if the fan is properly connected to the motherboard secondly check for dust build up in the fan and the rest of the pc case. Dust build up can cause parts to generate more heat and make the fan work harder. This happened to my Dimension 2350. The harddrive was constantyl hot. I cleaned the pc fan and all the vents and it was fine afterwards

Have previously done all that and the computer still keeps shutting down. On start up the fan does not seem to go any faster then when operating normally.

Have contacted them over 20-25 times now and they still will not confirm if they are sending any parts, they keep saying they will call back and no one ever calls back.

tech support has been the worst experiance I have ever had.

Why should I purchase a part which still has 2.5 years of warrenty left on it?

I can't believe that I have been through all this for $15.99 in parts.

Thanks for the site.
