I asked the same question to a Dell tech and he told me that it was running at norm operating speed. But if your like me, if I buy a 700mghz I want it to run 700. I'm going to raise cain if my processor is a 690 instead of a700 I paid for. P.S. mine just runs at 680. If you find anymore info let me know if ya don't care!! Later, Kyain

I found out how to find the chip info ... Restart you pc and at the Dell logo hit the delete key and a screen will come up telling your system info. PS: Be sure not to change anything. Just exit without saving.. This is your Bios, Cmos settings.
