Ram for dimension 3000

Question

I wanted to add another 512 to my dimension 3000 system which I already have 512 on, would I be able to just add 512 to it or would i need to buy a 1.24 gig ram to replace the old one?

What's your system specs ? if you don't have a ok graphics card adding more ram wont make a difference.

Unless you're on a corporate network, an academic (university) network, or are a programmer, XP Home is fine.

Yes I just came to realize that, I am thinking I need to change to a dimension 4700 because my dimension 3000 doesnt even have an available pci-x or agp slot, meaning I wouldn't even be able to get a decent vid card.  Do you know if it's possible to ship back a comp you already bought to get money back for a different one?

yep, but if i were you, i'g do with 5100 sereies for excellent cooling if you will be up for midrange gaming.
