Removing the Bios splash screen???

How do I remove the XP Pro bios splash screen that comes before the actual splash screen for XP Pro on my Dimension 4600?

Thanks for any advise you may have for me.

There is no way to remove the blue Dell logo splash screen, which is displayed while the BIOS initializes and performs the Power On Self-Test (POST).

Thanks very much.  I really appreciate the attention you've given to my inquiry.

I changed the mouse to a Logiteck Wireless which, instead of being a USB mouse,  the connector to the sensor goes into the mouse port on the sytem.  And, guess what?  It works and the software in question works marvelously.  And, afterall, I won't have to worry about the splash screen because, apparently, it had nothing to do with the whole issue.  By the way, you are absolutely right.  Before receiving your message I spoke to Dell and tech support could find no way to do it.

Again, thanks so much for responding so quickly.  It's good to have a forum like this, and people like you.
