RESET via front panel

I have a Dimension 4300 and have not figured out how to
reset the computer using the single front panel button.

thanks

Thanks,

But those options are not available if it is "hung".
What can one do in that case other than shut off the
machine?

There is no reset button on the 4300 - you either Ctrl-Alt-Del, or Start - Shutdown - Restart, to reset things.

You know what...probably twice a week I have to shut off my computer via the power bar...is this bad for the computer...do you know...and if it is, in which way is it bad. I have a brand new dell dimension 8100 (well 3 weeks old). I find with kids on it something ususally goes wrong, but alot of times it happens with me too. There is no particular situation it happens in.
