RT7D50 Keyboard Driver

I recently rebuilt my Dimension 1100 after loading a piece of software onto it that corrupted some files.

As the Dimension was shipped from Dell without any back up disks and I still had the Windows disks for an old Dell Latitude laptop that has since passed away, I used those instead.  Everything seems to work really well, except my keyboard now has the @ and " signs mixed up.  The keyboard has " above the number 2, but when typed it comes out as @.

Does anyone know where I can get the original drivers for the RT7D50 keyboard as I think that reinstalling those should solve it

Thanks

Actually the keyboard should work with windows standard drivers. Have you tried another keyboard? Not sure you should use laptop drivers for the demension. But the 1100 drivers are here and you will have to select the ones you need.

Thanks for that.  The link only has the wireless keyboard driver, not the basic keyboard.  Do you know where that is?

Thanks

So far the link I sent you is all the drivers for the 1100. I will look around some or maybe someone else knows. Why do you need drivers for that keyboard when windows already has drivers for these keyboards? Are you looking for drivers or some software that allows other keyboard functions?

Maybe I did something wrong in the set up.  You may be right that the laptop system may not be compatible with the Dimension

If I were you I would uninstall all those laptop drivers and use the link I sent you for your drivers and just allow windows to handle the keyboard. There may be some software in those drivers I sent that contains keyboard files. But all your drivers for the 1100 are the ones I sent you.
