Silicone Compound

I have just received a replacement board for my OptiPlex GX 270. It came with a syringe containing Silicone Compound, exactly where should I be applying this?
 
Any help much appreciated!

That is Heat Transfer Compound. you will need to apply it on the CPU for optimal heat transfer from CPU to the heatsink after you have installed it on the new motherboard.
