Slow Computer Performance after motherboard Replacement
After replacing my motherboard ive seen some dramatic changes in the performance of my computer. For one Every time i turn it on it takes about 20 seconds on the "Windows is starting up" screen right before it displays the users while it used to be instant. Also when i burn dvd's the dvd drive starts to blink along with the little battery LED light(it used to stay solid and i don't remember th battery light) and the whole computer starts to lag like crazy (More than 2min just for a program to open)! unlike before where i could burn and be converting a ton of movies at the same time with almost no lag at all. Is there anyway to fix this or is it the doing of the new motherboard thats causing all this lag and slowness? Also i've been wanting to reformat my computer for some time now with a windows restore cd but i know for a fact i dident get one with my dell. I heard some dell's actually put the restore cd onto your hardrive and have you make it instead. Is this true?if so where? Thanks for your help everyone look forward to hearing from you ^_^!
