system administrator password
My 15 y.o. set his user as the administrator giving me limited access and won't give me the password. How can I reset and make myself the administrator without knowing the password he used?

Log on to Windows in Safe Mode. At the Welcome screen press Ctrl-Alt-Delete twice. At the sign-in screen enter Administrator and leave the password blank. If you are not able to log on using a blank password, the program here can set it to blank.
Once you are logged on as system administrator you can go to Start|Control Panel|User Accounts and remove or reset the password on your named administrator account.

Start the computer and as it boots up begin tapping F8. Select Safe Mode from the menu that appears.
