System has recovered from serious error.
Upon startup, an error window pops up stating that my system has recovered from a serious error. It also shows that it has created a .dmp and .xml file.
The system is only about 2 months old running XP Home, 1.8, in an Dimension 8200.
I don't know what the technical information means, does anyone out there know how I should address this problem on my own? Or is this a problem thats best left to DellSupport.
thanks for any help in advance

This problem occurs because after a minidump file is written, the paging file continues to have a flag. Just delete your paging file and then create a new one.
If you are not familiar with this check for the Microsoft Knowledge Base article Q317277 or follow the following link
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;317277
It solves the problem at almost 99% of the cases I've experienced.
