Trouble with the Task Manager
I have a Dell 4700 that freezes often. I am working on solving that problem, but I don't understand why pressing control-alt-delete won't bring up the task manager so I can close the unresponsive program. When the computer freezes, I have to power down completely and restart. Does anyone know why I can't control-alt-delete? thanks.

Thanks for the response. I will try it. I installed webroot Spy Sweeper about two weeks ago and everything was working fine until I shut down the computer the first time after install. When I turned the computer back on, windows XP would not load so I had to restart in safe mode and remove spy sweeper. Once Spy Sweeper was gone, everything was fine. I will try installing it again though. thanks
