Troubleshooting Windows 10
Windows 10 is a nightmare!!!!! I've had countless problems since I downloaded the Operating System. My laptop is always slow and unresponsive. This still happens even when I automatically install Windows Update. My screen goes white with Microsoft Edge. I just recently tried to update my network driver. I've also updated BIOS. I've tried system restore. I've also tried using Google Chrome. My mouse pointer freezes too.

Something is seriously wrong with your configuration, as Windows 10 should be an improvement over earlier versions of Windows.
Which model of Dell is this?

I have 4 old Dells running win 7 fine. Switched all 4 to Win 10 and agree with you. Nothing but problems. Network and Sharing is a new nightmare, HP printers don't work until uninstalled and reinstalled, Lost the start menu and quick icons on 3 of them requiring some magic that worked to fix it, etc, etc. Good things I had other PCs available to research issues. My wife switched back to 7 and I am thinking about it. Just bought a new Dell and got Windows 7. I think a lot of it is drivers and USB related stuff (drivers again). I told my friends to wait a year and to only get Win 10 on a PC built for Win 10!

I am having the same problems, can't install a printer and lost my wifi, all after upgradeing to Windows10. We have worked around it for a while, but want the printer back. I tried working with the Windows people for a few hours, but they could not do anything. In checking Dell, I now see that my Inspiron is not serviced for Windows 10, so I can't get assistance there with updates.
How hard is it to go back to Windows 7? I have had 10 for about 3 months now.

First 30 days is a breeze in virtually all cases. Longer than that requires more effort and I have not tested. I imagine it is not a big deal but has more complexity and a little danger as usual. I think the difference between under and over 30 is what is retained on your PC or in an short-term account set aside for you but not sure. Hope you backed up a recovery disk.
With regard to the printer. I have an HP 7525. I went to the HP site and researched how to get rid of all HP programs and drivers on my PC and a few other tweaks as I recall. Restart. Then I went to the HP website and got the newly released full program and drivers for my PC (had just been released in December for win 10 support), downloaded and installed per guidelines and have had absolutely no printer issues since then. Can print and scan from both the PC using their updated program and also from the printer screen.

Seems odd. I have a 2008 Vostro (delivered with WinXP) and 2011 Inspiron both running Windows 10 fine. The only computer giving me any trouble with Win 10 is a 5-week old XPS-8900, but I seem to be wrestling it to the ground.'
