Trying to boot from USB
I have a XPS 400 running windows xp, motherboard is Dell DXP051, Bios A07. I am trying to boot from a flash drive via USB I have gone into my Bios and have selected to Boot from USB 1st and everytime I try to boot from it my computer freezes. I have no problem booting my laptop and my other Dell from USB but for some reason my main computer just won't work. I also tried updating my Bios and I'm still having the same problems. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Hello,
This is from the documents for your system ...
NOTE: The computer attempts to boot to all bootable devices but if no bootable device is found, the computer generates the No boot device available error message. Press the key to retry the boot, or press the key to enter the setup utility. You can find the full text here.

Thanks for the reply,
I tried that and still have the same problem. When I press it asks me which device to boot from and I select USB and then it freezes. I know the USB device is bootable becuase I can boot from it on my other 2 computers.
