Hi there

i have the standard optiplex 755 minitower and was thinking to install ubuntu 7.10. my question is partitioning the best way forward or i came up with the idea of installing a 2nd hard disk purely for use with linux.

 

Even if i have to swap the connections from time to time between hard disks/operating systems it seems to me that once i have configured and am happy with Linux the move would become permanent and the original hard disk formatted and set to slave.

 

Does anyone forsee any issues or better ideas with this post:smileyindifferent:
