Unsupported Device

Upgraded Dell Dimension 8100 Serv.Tag 59LBG01, to Win XP and bios v.xp2, and have an unsupported device in Device Manager. Dell Resource CD produced nothing. Debugged and second install produced same result. Factory stock computer, except Win XP. Windows update, no help. Intel chipset driver from intel, no help. Help.

Hankieroseman,

Not for sure what this is but I would look to see if there are chipset drivers for this system for XP and install that to start. You may also want to see if you can come up with more information on what this device may be.

Bravo Flooby! I found it after I made the post. Tricky little Dell thing. I gotta quit doing friends computers for free. That P4 was slow. AMD for me! Salute

No chipset drivers needed for this config. It'a Dell thing with a fancy button to call dell on the internet. Imagine_That!
