Updating BIOS

Have a question about updating the BIOS on an XPS 630i.  I found several updates for my BIOS on dell's website.  My question is do I need to install each BIOS update in order to receive the benefits of each update?  Or does the latest one include all previous updates?  Thanks in advace for any and all help with this.

To answer your question, the latest BIOS update includes all previous updates.  Now the real question.  Do you really need the BIOS update?  If your system is running fine as is there's no need to update the BIOS.  If your updating your processor or trying to fix a problem, then by all means run the update.  Just remember a failed BIOS update can brick your system.  So only update if you actually need to.

Thanks for answering my question.  I am currently having issues where i keep crashing to the desktop playing l4d2 and battlefield bad company 2.  They are the only 2 games I am having issues with but both developers have suggested updating motherboard drivers and bios drivers.  I have already updated all others.  I noticed in one of the bios updates it said something about a fix for system stability so I figured I would give it a shot since I have pretty much exhausted all other suggestions.  Hopefully I run into no issues when updating the bios.  But if I do I remember reading somewhere that if I remove the battery on the motherboard it will reset the bios to it's default settings.  Again, hopeully it iwill not come to that.  Thanks again for responding!

Hi charles76, If your trying to run those games off your onboard graphics chip, then you will need to buy an graphics card for your system. Modern games are demanding, and need lots of memory. Your specks are HERE, and you have an PCIe slot on your mobo with an 750w PSU. You should have no problems getting an card to fit that system.

I have a nvidia gtx 260 868mg card and 6 gb of ram.  So i should be good.  I can play crysis with all settings maxed out.  Thanks for your suggestion!
