Upgrade Dimension 2350 Video Problem
I am trying to add a Nvidia 6600 PCI card into my Dimension 2350. I can't seem to find a way to disable the onboard video in the BIOS or set the default to PCI Video. Under the video selection in the BIOS all I can do is set to the primary video to auto or onboard. I was told by tech support that there should be a disable setting for the onboard video. But, I can't see it.
I am using the A02 BIOS on the system.
The question is. Does the auto setting automatically detect a PCI Video card and disable the onboard video? Or is there a setting somewhere I just don't see.
