Upgrading a Second Xeon Processor on a Precision 450

Getting the Upgrade from Dell means you get Dell warranty and support.
Buying from another vendor shouldnt be a problem as long as the S spec of the cpu's match.

How do I determine the S Spec as you suggested?

I believe its marked in teeny tiny letters on the bottom.

Note: DP identifies the processor as an Intel Xeon processor for uni or dual processing and MP identifies the processor as an Intel Xeon processor MP for 4way or 8way processing.
