Hi, I really do hope someone can kindly help me here.

Since changing the motherboard CMOS battery (v3), as my dell dimension 8400 requested, I am having problems with my USB peripherals.

Once the PC boots up successfully, I can connect my printer, wireless netgear router and wirless keyboard and mouse - all work fine - but when rebooting, on the next boot up screen all i get is a flashing cursor and it will remain there for ages.

I disconnet the USB connections, reboot and then all is fine. I called Dell and went into BIOS to load default USB settings but problem still there.

Pls help.
