Using a Widescreen Television - Drivers?
Dimension 3000. Video card *does* support resolutions up to 1920x1200.
I have this computer plugged into the back of a 62 inch DLP Mitsubishi Widescreen Television. Works great, except it wont display in widescreen resolution. Only displays as the typical boxy monitor square shape.
I had this working in the past but I had to reinstall windows recently and now can't reproduce it.
Obviously its a driver issue. The Dell display drivers page for this computer has almost 20 possible drivers listed, apparently for different monitors.
Do you know which driver might go with a true widescreen minotor? Im assuming thats all I need to install. The card handles high resolutions, just has the wrong shape resolutions.
Ideally id have a "Mitsubishi DLP Television" display driver that can be installed on any computer attached to it, but .... no such luck.
Really want to fill this huge screen!
Thanks
