Video Card Upgrade Help
Can anyone recommend a good video card upgrade for my daughters older model dell 4100 that came with a 32mb ati radeon? She uses the computer mostly for gaming, but doesnt want a real expensive card...She just wants something to be compatible with the latest direct x, and that wont keep crashing (locking up her pc) during her games...Thank you for your time and answers... and again this isnt for the dell 4550 that will show on my post its for my daughters older 4100 with 384 MB RAM and runs under ME.

Two questions:
1) How much are you/she willing to spend?
2) What kind of games does she run?

No offense, but you posted this very same question on Nov 29th. Did you not read the replies?

Dale, however, this posting was by my daughter who is visiting me. Thanks for your earlier response.

Hmm, AGP wise I'd say the Geforce 4 Ti 4200 for the system - its a good solid gamer card and you can get one for around $80 to 110 on the web.
if for PCI then the... the ATI Radeon 9100 would be a good card - unless I'm dead wrong.
you can find one for a good price as well.
well I'm not much help i suppose but those are the cards that I see working well for the 4100. the guys here are greatly helpful so if my post is useless they'll correct it.
