Video Graphics Card
I have a Dell Dimension E310 from 2006, would like to upgrade my graphics card. How do I change/upgrade the graphics card? It's not on the PCI scokets and I find no evidence of the graphics card anywhere?? I find an updated card on the Dell web site but unable to find the old one to replace!! Needless to say, I am stumped, any help, suggestion would be appreciated.

Hi you can add a PCI or a PCI Express x1 as Bev saids. :)
Try this one, have you added a graphics card before ?
HIS H545H1GD1 Radeon HD 5450 Silence 1GB 64-bit DDR3 PCI Express x1 Low Profile Video Card with Eyefinity

Dimension e310 computers were not sold by Dell with video cards, only with integrated graphics.
The only video cards supported by the e310 are PCI, or low-bandwidth PCI x1 cards, this PC does not support PCI-Express x16 or AGP.

Will the Ageia PhysX 128MB PCIe x1 Dell W056C work? I get the following error
I/O card parity interrupt at 6000:1BF8.
Type (S)hut off MMI, (R)eboot, other keys to continue
Hit other key to continue gets Bluescreen
with following message
*** Hardware Malfunction
Call your hardware vendor for support
MMMI: Parity Check / Memory Parity Error
***The system has Halted***

So it only means that if you need a system with faster video card, you have to buy the whole package.

Someone on Newegg is reporting that this card works well in the E310. It also has an onboard HD audio device that can power monitor speakers or even work with an HDTV or receiver.
