Virus protection

Question

My computer came with Mcafee Security and since a company has had to remove virus I find that I now have  eTrust. I would like to return my computer to security system I had. Don't know how to do this without purchasing something I already had. Thanks Pearl Girl

you should have mcafee on a cd that originally came with your computer. you'll need to uninstall etrust first before installing mcafee

First I want to say thanks. I don't have disc that says McAfee but I do have one that says ( Dell Tools System Software, Contents: Antivirus, support, multimedia, and internet software).

yeah, go to control panel >> add/remove programs and remove etrust (you might need to restart) then install from the dell disc, just follow the on-screen prompts and you'll be fine.

i'm guessing either mcafee or norton will be on that cd, they're both very good and better than etrust. so even if mcafee isn't on the disc install norton.
