Vista/XP dual boot problem

I am trying to dual boot Vista/XP on seperate hard drives.  I used Vista boot pro 3.3

When I boot system I get the Windows Boot Manager screen asking to choose an operating system,

Vista boots fine but XP takes me to a screen that says:

RAID Volumes: None defined

Physical disks

Port 0  Hitachi    Non-RAID disk          (Vista)

Port 3  WDC       SMART Event          (XP already loaded)

Press CTRL-I to enter configuration utility.

I'm pretty sure the hard drive is fine I had this plugged into Port 0 previously to make sure older programs would run on XP on this system and it worked fine.

XPS420

Intel Quad Q6600 @ 2.4G

3G mem
