here's the error message that i got when updating Sierra Imaging, while in Picture IT:Vsmon has caused an error in kernel 32.dll Vsmon will now close.
I then went to the microsoft web site, which gave me the w32/kris virus info.
The odd thing is that i run both NAV and Zone Alarm,i constantly check for updates and install when prompted.
I went to the symantec web site, just minutes ago to download the patch and they did a automatic scan and of course it found NO VIRUSES in any of my files.
Now i'm really confused.
Any Ideas??
Thanks for your help,mike

i scanned my computer using pc-cillin,as you recommened and in the middle of the scan,my NAV popped up with an alert saying tha a virus was detected"c:\windows\temp\v3n01qa91435
w32.nimda.A@mm[dr]."
I quarentined the virus.then pc-cillin finished it's scan and found no viruses. this is very strange? what happened to the kris virus? Why did pc-cillin not find my new nimda virus?
Again, any help would be greatly appreciated, i'm new on the computer and have only had it about 3 months, so please bear with me,thanks

Once you've followed the removal steps, you'll want to scan again (I'd recommend a manual scan via Norton, and another House Call scan), and see what you get then. Post back if questions.
