what does "r" mean?

What does the "r" mean in Dimension XPS T600r. I've noticed some configurations giving a choice with and without the "r" at the same price.

Thanks,

A while back in about August they started using the letter "r" with the coppermine chips but I'm not completely sure if thats what it is. Basically just a guess

I believe that the "r" means the computer comes with advanced transfer cache. I recently ordered an XPS T600 without the "r" and it came with 512K Cache. I believe the XPS T600r comes with half that. Basically, they both perform the same. I was wondering this myself when I ordered mine.

Scott is correct. The r indicates the system has a copermine processor.

It means it has the new Intel Coppermine chip. It is an improved and faster chip.
