what is a FSB

what is a FSB i know that i connect the CPU to the main memory what i want to know is if it effecs the prefrmance of the computer that much????
if not what does???
what is the bus between the CPU and the MOBO called?

Yes it affects the performance.The higher the FSB the greater the overall performance of your system.

The Internal Bus connects the different components inside the case: The CPU, system memory, and all other components on the motherboard. It's also referred to as the System Bus.

A motherboard is just a provider of the infrastructure necessary for components to communicate.The flow/speed of data communications is regulated by the chipset.
