WHY MEEEE?!?!?!?

Ok...I've had some trouble with my computer lately but this is ridiculous. I downloaded OpenGL so I could play my Quake III demo. Then the demo wouldn't work....then the display settings couldn't be modified......and now the computer when I start the clunker up it says INFORMATION: OUT OF SCAN RANGE And it stays that way. SO NOW ALL WHAT I HAVE IS AN EXPENSIVE ERROR DISPLAYING DEVICE I worked hard and saved up spent $3000+ so my computer could give me some frikin message over and over again that I have no idea what it means (Im only 14) Anyway... first what the hell does that mean?!? Second of all I'd like second opinions even though I am going to call DELL. And to all you newbies watch out for OpenGL Those bugs will kill you. Thanks to all of you who take the time out of their day to respond to little young me!!

If I wanted to spend $3000 to be confused and irritated...........

Oh yeahh...forgot to say...I also got a whole plethora of error messages THAT I HAD NEVER RECEIVED BEFORE about vdx..and memory..and the video card you name it, it was an error

I have a Dimension XPSR450...128ram....ATI Rage Pro(i tink)...and all the other technical stuff

Try visiting the graphic card manufacturer's web site and install the latest drivers for your card. Also make sure you have the latest version of DirectX installed from Microsoft's web site. I've installed the demo and had no problems on my system.
