windows shutdown 4 no reason, no automatic reboot afterwards
Hi, I have a demension 2400, windows xp
Today, after 2 hours on the internet it shut down 4 no reason. I thought it was blaster, but it didn't give a message saying it's going to shutdown and it didn't reboot afterwards, so I think it's something else. After I reboot the computer, it automatically shutdown again after about 30 mins. now I disconnect the internet, and virus scan the computer, no results coming out yet.
My windows is updated, and so is virus scan (mcafee).Does anyone know what kind of virus I confront right now?
Plz, plz help. Any advice will be appreciated. Online waiting for anyhelp.

I saw two fans at the back, both still working. don't know if they are in the right speed though. About the diagnostic lights, they are in solid green while the computer is working. There are plenty of dust covering both fans, but no where I can get closer enough to clean them even with part of cover removed.I think I have to get sb to help me with that.
However, if it's only hard drive, howcome it will only shutdown when I connect the internet?

S. The dust can be blown out with a can of compressed air-made specifically for that purpose.
Do you run ad-aware? If not i would download -install-update and run it. If you can keep it connected to the internet long enough.
