Windows XP Pro Shutdown
I cannot get my Dimension 8200 compuer to shut down. I am running Windows XP Pro. when I click start then shutdown nothing happens whatsoever, almost like the computer is ignoring the shutdown command. I have permission to do so, so it is not a permission problem. I am about to send the computer back to Dell as I have had some problems with it and only had it for a month. System componants are below.
2.2 ghz P4
1 Gig of RAM
120 GB Hard Drive
128mb Geforce 4 Ti 4600 Video
21" Trinitron Monitor
CD-Rom
CDRW 24x
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try this site for shut down issues. FYI you only have 30 days from the invoice date to return your computer.
