XPS 730H2C Question

Does anyone know why the Dell online configuration does not offer the 10K rpm drives (either Raid or non-Raid) for the XPS 730H2C?

Dell only shows 7200 rpm drives available.

Is it possible to obtain a configuration with 10K rpm drives through telephone sales?  Has anyone done that?

I've wondered about that as well. It seems that if the XPS 730H2C is supposed to be the Extreme Performance System as Dell hails it to be, why not use 10K rpm VelociRaptors in the configuration? I would say maybe it's because of the cost of the drives but let's be honest, for the price Dell is charging for these XPS 730H2C systems, I could buld a machine at the same, if not better specs, for half the cost.

Yes,  2 x 300GB VelociRaptors Raid0 would be an excellent selection.
