XPS8500 will not post
Have xps8500 about 2 years old. i7cpu, 8GB ram. Suddenly shut off and will not reboot.
PSU light on back of case is green. After power button is hit, it flashes amber and cpu fan spins up and down every few seconds repeatedly, never posts, no beeps. CPU fans just start and stop continuously.
Where should I start troubleshooting? Is it the PSU or MOBO? Or Other?

An amber power light usually means a PSU or motberboard failure. If your system is under warranty contact Dell and set up a repair.

I see it is two years old, you will need to purchase a new PSU or motherboard, which ever is causing the problem. Try reseating the ram first and see if that gets it to boot.
