3D Video Controller Driver
I have a Dell 17 5000 (5758) laptop running a fully up-to-date version of Windows 8.1.
I have been on the Dell website to check laptop drivers and I have (I think) downloaded and installed all the recommended drivers but under Control Panel/Device Manager I find that there is a question mark against the "3D Video Controller".
If I ask for the driver to be updated I find that no driver can not be found either on the internet or on the laptop.
How can I ask the Dell Support webpage to look for this specific driver?
or
Can anyone point me directly to the required driver?
Many thanks

I'm sorry I have no Idea what you video card is!! At leas for my model (5558) the are both NVidia and Ati drivers. in order to be sure what you require,
If you can use internet explorer, have java installed, and allow your PC to be auto scanned, I think they ight detect yu have no driver and or a conflict.
Else, I'd recommend something along the lines of running msinfo, clicking "Hardware, then "Components and then Display. F not mistaken this should Id your proper driver.
If other please export and upload the msinfo from file menu, or a scfeenshot. PNP device ID is always a corrent hint.
By th way, is it possible to have installed either nvid and amd drivers at the time, and or no use the dell package?
IIn such case driver cleaner in safe booting from SAFE mode is my best guesss.http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
Make sure yoou scroll down seect the latest version. I hope this works leet me know if not.
